Insurance

MSI provides coverage for routine vision analysis once every one to two years for children up to their 10th birthday, as well as those 65 years of age and over. MSI also has coverage for visual assessments for a number of ocular diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts, as well as for many systemic conditions like diabetes and MS. Please note that this covers only the basic examination and there will be a $49 charge for all MSI covered full exams (other than for children) for OCT (optical coherence tomography) which does retinal imaging and a 3D assessment of the internal structures of the eye. For all others, we would be happy to try to bill your private insurance for you.

Even though we can bill directly, some plans have some restrictions. Please check your plan details prior to your appointment.

For all other insurance plans, you will be required to pay for your examination and then it is up to you to submit your receipt and any insurance forms to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If your insurance form contains a section for your service provider to fill in, please bring the form to your examination.
